Malik Martin judges the Julius Isaac Alexander Diversity Moot at the Court of Appeal

On February 2, 2018, Malik Martin sat as a volunteer judge for the Julius Isaac Alexander Diversity Moot.  The Annual Koskie Minsky Diversity Moot Competition began in 2008. In 2012, the moot was named after the late Chief Justice of the Federal Court of Appeal, Julius Alexander Isaac, the first Black judge to sit on the Federal Court of Canada. Each year, the unilingual moot focuses on an area of law in which issues of equity and diversity arise.  The Black Law Student Association of Canada administers the Julius Alexander Isaac Moot in collaboration with law firms, law schools and community organizations.  This year, the moot featured participants from McGill University Faculty of Law, Osgoode Hall Law School, University of Toronto Faculty of Law, University of Windsor Faculty of Law, and Queens University Faculty of Law.  Rueters LLP congratulates all participants and the winning team from Osgoode Hall Law School.
