On June 23, 2018, Janet Lunau of Rueters LLP and Hannah Biesterfeld of Rebecca Huang & Associates presented a seminar on employment law for small business owners. Janet and Hannah provide employers with a practical overview of employment law basics that will help them to identify issues at all stages of the employment relationship. The seminar will also help employers understand their obligations under Ontario’s employment and human rights legislation, with a focus on recent changes to the Employment Standards Act and related legislation.
