Janet Lunau judges the University of Toronto Cup

On February 11, 2018, Janet Lunau sat as a volunteer Judge for the U of T Cup, an undergraduate mooting competition that drew competitors from universities across Ontario and Quebec.  The moot required competitors to address questions of freedom of religion and the Crown’s duty to consult with a First Nation, based on the Supreme Court of Canada’s decision in Ktunaxa Nation v. British Columbia (Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations), 2017 SCC 54.  Rueters LLP offers its congratulations to all mooters on a job well done.
